- To show tenants their linked rental profile, current balance, itemized charges, and payment status.
- To send OTP, SMS, push, chat, payment, and support notifications.
- To process payments and payouts through configured providers.
Sharing
- Landlords and tenants can see information needed for their rental relationship.
- Payment providers receive the minimum transaction information needed to collect, confirm, or pay out funds.
- Nyumba may disclose records when required for security, compliance, dispute handling, or lawful requests.
User Controls
Users can update account details in the app, ask their landlord to correct rental records, and contact Nyumba support about account access, payment status, or data concerns. Some ledger and payment records may be retained where needed for reconciliation, security, tax, accounting, or dispute history.
